ERMELO – Ermelo Jewellers in the Merino Mall was robbed moments ago.

According to preliminary information shared on a local safety and security group, seven armed suspects stormed the store before fleeing in a white Honda sedan.

Ermelo Police, Acsu Security Services, Spartan Security, Highveld Security, and forensic investigators are currently on the scene.

Highvelder journalist, René Joubert, said that ACSU Security Services has set off in pursuit of the getaway vehicle.

At this stage, no serious injuries have been reported.
