Spartan Security Services responds to PEP stores theft, two women arrested
Spartan Security Services responded after PEP Stores reported an alleged theft, leading to the arrest of two women on July 28.
Two women were arrested earlier this afternoon after an alleged shoplifting incident at PEP Home in Kerk Street was reported to Spartan Security Services.
According to information received, PEP employees alerted Spartan Security Services that the two women were allegedly stealing from the store.
A Spartan response unit was immediately dispatched to the scene.
The suspects were apprehended by Spartan Security Services and handed over to the South African Police Service (SAPS) for further investigation and processing.
A quantity of personal care items was recovered during the incident. From the provided image, six bottles of mouthwash, two bottles of Satiskin products, and a packaged toothbrush are visible.
According to Kirk, the two women are foreign nationals. He said the relevant authorities would determine any further action relating to their immigration status.
