MBCF draws up petition against bad services and infrastructure in Msukaligwa

She said that with the community’s support, as business and residents, they could achieve this goal that would lead to better service delivery in town.

ERMELO – The Gert Sibande District Municipality, the Msukaligwa Municipality, and Cogta (district and provincial) are among the various stakeholders that the Msukaligwa Business and Community Forum (MBCF) has been interacting with regarding the appalling state of critical infrastructure and service delivery in the Msukaligwa region.

The community is negatively impacted by these stakeholders’ inability to provide services efficiently, according to Janice Conradie, chairperson of the MBCF.

“Business and residents are severely impacted by the lack of intervention by the stakeholders that we continue to engage with. As a result of this, we are hoping that, petitioning the minister of small business development to appear before the parliamentary committee, it will force the stakeholders at local, district and provincial level to act.”

She said that with the community’s support, as businesses and residents, they could achieve this goal that would lead to better service delivery in town.

“We will be closing this petition on the 24 October 2022 at 23:59.”
