Two men apprehended for suspected stolen vehicle in Morgenzon

The two men were apprehended and charged with the possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle.

MORGENZON – Two suspects were arrested on September 4 after being found in possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.

According to Colonel Donald Mdhluli, a provincial police spokesperson, the police have been on the lookout since they received information regarding a Toyota Corolla that had been reported stolen in Mzinoni.

“Further details indicated that the vehicle was seen in the Morgenzon area. The police investigated it and spotted the vehicle,” Mdhluli said.

The two men, Lindokuhle Msibi (27) and Njambulo Sibande (29), were apprehended and charged with the possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle.

They appeared in the Morgenzon Periodical Court on September 5, facing the said charges. The matter was postponed to September 12, when they were expected to make a formal bail application.

In the meantime, they remain in custody.
