ERMELO – A fire broke out at one of the homes in Dennehof, McDonald Street on July 24.

Upon Highvelder’s arrival, residents and bystanders took action to tackle the blaze.

A vehicle in the carport in front of the house caught fire and was extinguished.

Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services were also dispatched to the house.

According to the affected resident’s neighbour, no one sustained any injuries.

The cause of the fire is unclear at the moment and Highvelder will update readers when more information is available.
