Municipality assists households affected by strong winds in Carolina

CAROLINA – The Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality (CALM) extended its support to residents of Silobela’s Wards 15 and 22 who were affected by strong winds on January 7.

The severe weather resulted in significant damage to several homes, including roof collapses, structural damage and the loss of essential household items.

In response, the CALM dispatched a disaster response team to assess the extent of the damage and provide immediate assistance to affected families.
