Piet Retief police appeal for help to find missing 6-year-old
After two days without any leads, the family reported the matter to the Piet Retief police on 30 January.
Police in Piet Retief are calling on the public for assistance in locating Rethabile Okuhle Vilakazi (6), who has been missing since January 28.
Rethabile was last seen around 14:00 that afternoon after returning home from school via scholar transport.
According to her mother, she went to the bus stop to collect her daughter, only to find that Rethabile was not there.

Initial reports indicate that the bus arrived earlier than usual, and Rethabile disembarked with other learners at the bus stop.
She then walked along a familiar path towards her home but never arrived.
A desperate search by her family and authorities began immediately, and a missing person case was opened.

Authorities are urging anyone with information that could help in locating Rethabile to come forward.
