Ermelo Kare Bearz donates beanies and toys to Day Care Center

Kare Bearz spreads love to children in need by donating toys and has launched a food drive for local crèches.

ERMELO – The Ermelo Kare Bearz donated 150 hand-knitted beanies and soft toys to Zamokhule Day Care Centre in Wesselton on May 13.

The initiative aimed to provide warmth and comfort to the children during winter.

“We love coming to this school. They have the most loving and caring staff and teachers,” Juliet Basson of Kare Bearz said.

She expressed concern over the day care centre’s ongoing struggle to secure government funding, while also thanking the community for their contributions to the project.

The Kare Bearz recently launched a food drive project to help two other crèches.

They are calling on the community to open their hearts and pantries for a vital food drive aimed at supporting local crèches facing desperate circumstances.
