Ermelo Toyota is revving up the excitement with the Ermelo Toyota Legend Fest taking place on, June 28. Locals can enjoy a full day of action and a lively atmosphere from 08:00 to 17:00, with events taking place at the SX Racing track just outside Ermelo on the Morgenzon Road, and the Ermelo Toyota dealership at 130 Kerk Street.

Not only is this a great opportunity for the community to enjoy a day out, something residents are always eager for, but all proceeds from the festival will go towards local charities, making it a day of fun with a purpose.

GR 4×4 experience with André de Villiers

At the SX Racing track, fans of grit and gravel can take part in the GR 4×4 Experience, an exclusive meet-and-greet and off-road masterclass with 4×4 expert and host of 4×4 Met André on kykNET, André de Villiers.

For just R100, participants will receive hands-on insight into the world of off-roading, live demonstrations, expert driving tips, and the chance to get up close with ‘Buks’, the powerful GR Hilux.

Ticket holders will also be allowed to bring and use their own 4×4 vehicles, putting their new skills to the test on the SX Racing track.

Legend(ary) potjiekos competition

Meanwhile, Ermelo Toyota’s showroom will come alive with the aroma of simmering pots as teams compete in a potjiekos competition.

Teams of four can enter for R200, with each group required to bring their own pot, ingredients, and build their own fire.

Whether sweet or savoury, it’s all about creativity and flavour.

Vendor stalls available

Vendors are also invited to book a stall space for R200.

Whether it’s food, crafts or custom creations, this is a great opportunity to showcase your products.

Limited spots are available and stallholders are required to bring their own tables, gazebos, chairs and extension cords.
