In 2022, he qualified as a general surgeon and has been a locum surgeon in both public and private hospitals in Cape Town.

His compassionate care and dedication left a lasting impact on patients and colleagues alike.

The general hospital manager of Mediclinic Ermelo, Tessa Williamson, said, “Doctor Tait was one of a kind. He wasn’t only a doctor; he was my friend. I’m going to miss him running into my office just to say hi. Rest well, we will forever carry you in our hearts.”

A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place tomorrow, June 26, at 11:00 AM in the foyer of the N.G. Kerk De Bruinpark. Refreshments will be served.
