A two-vehicle collision near the Cassim Park traffic light on the N17 caused delays this evening, July 24.
ERMELO – A two-vehicle collision occurred this evening, July 24, near the Cassim Park traffic light on the N17, at the intersection with Oosthuise Street just before the road exits Ermelo in the direction of Bethal.
Emergency services responded swiftly and remain on scene.
Paramedics from the provincial ambulance services arrived some time after the incident.

Although it is unclear whether anyone required treatment, no patients were seen being attended to while Highvelder was on the scene.
Van Wettens, Ermelo Towing Services, and Shesha Towing Services were also on scene, along with officers from the South African Police Service and the local traffic department, assisting with the response and managing traffic.
Motorists are urged to approach the area with caution, as delays are expected while the vehicles are being recovered and the scene is cleared.
