VIDEO – Emergency services respond to N11 accident near Ermelo’s landfill site

A two-vehicle collision on the N11 near Ermelo’s dumping site slowed traffic briefly earlier today, 13 August.

A collision involving two vehicles occurred earlier today on the N11 in Ermelo, opposite the entrance to the town’s landfill site

The crash happened on a section of road where the speed limit is 80km/h, a stretch known for frequent accidents.

Emergency services, including police, traffic officials, the provincial ambulance service, Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue, Road Patrol, Van Wettens, Sesha, and Ermelo Towing Services, were quick to arrive at the scene.

At the time of publication, it remained unclear whether any serious injuries had been sustained.

Authorities managed traffic efficiently while clearing the site, helping to minimise delays for passing motorists.
