Carolina police seek public’s help to identify man found in river

The man was dressed in a pair of blue jeans with a brown belt, a navy or black shirt, and a white t-shirt underneath.

CAROLINA – Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying an unknown man whose body was discovered floating in a local river on July 16.

According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, the body was decomposed when it was found.

“The man was dressed in a pair of blue jeans with a brown belt, a navy or black shirt, and a white t-shirt underneath,” Ndubane said.

Police are urging anyone with information that could help identify the deceased or locate their family to come forward.

“We believe someone out there might be missing a family member or friend who matches this description. Even the smallest detail could be crucial in helping us bring closure to his loved ones.”
