Davel police seek family of unidentified man found on N17

DAVEL – Police are appealing to the public for help in locating the family of an unidentified man who was found dead on the N17 highway.
His body was discovered on July 9, on the road between Davel and Bethal.
According to a police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, the man’s body was severely injured, and it is suspected that he was a victim of a hit-and-run incident.
He is estimated to be in his early 30s.
