UPDATE: Ermelo truck accident – Man stable after being hit in Fourie Street

A man was struck by a truck in Fourie Street after allegedly walking into the road. He was fortunate to only sustain soft tissue injuries.

The Provincial Ambulance Services have confirmed that the man struck by a truck in Fourie Street earlier sustained only minor injuries, mostly soft tissue injuries. Emergency personnel attended the scene, and the man is in a stable condition.

ERMELO – A man was struck by a truck in Fourie Street moments ago.

According to a bystander, it appears the man may have veered into the road and was then struck.

Emergency personnel have been dispatched, and the man is alive, although the extent of his injuries are not known.
