Department appeals to community for help to trace relatives of deceased man in Ermelo

Authorities are seeking the relatives of Daniel Mnisi, who died recently in Vryheid but was registered under Msukaligwa Local Municipality.

ERMELO – The Department of Health is appealing to the community for assistance in tracing the family of Sgila Daniel Mnisi, who recently passed away.

Mnisi, originally from the Msukaligwa area but employed in Vryheid, died with no known next of kin.

“When he was still alive, he said he couldn’t remember his home, but he could recognise the bus and taxi stops,” said Sr Kate Mavuso of the Department of Health.

“He was brought in by his employer, who also does not know his personal details.”

Records indicate that Mnisi voted under the Musukaligwa Local Municipality and attended Bashele Primary School.

Anyone with information about Mnisi’s family is asked to contact Sr Kate Mavuso at the Department of Health on 072 612 2801.
