Planned power outage scheduled for Ermelo

The municipality urges residents and businesses to treat all electrical points as live during the scheduled power interruption.

ERMELO- Residents and businesses across several areas of Msukaligwa are reminded of the planned power interruption today, 23 September, due to an Eskom emergency outage.

The outage is expected to last from 08:00 to 16:00.

Affected areas include:
  • Whole of Wesselton
  • Ermelo East
  • Portions of De Clerk, McDonald, Taute, Jansen, Jacobs and Wes Steets.
  • Portions of Cloete, Kerk, Jan van Riebeeck, Murray, Joubert, Fourie, Naude, Oosthuisen, Wessels, and the CBD up to Hennies
  • Cassim Park, Stock Farm, and parts of De Bruin Park

The municipality urges all residents and businesses to treat all electrical points as live during the scheduled power interruption.

Extreme caution must be exercised, and no assumptions should be made about whether equipment or cables are de-energized, unless confirmed by authorized officials.
