Splash, sell and success during Laerskool Ermelo’s market day

Even the principal, vice principal and other management staff eagerly participated, much to the learners’ delight.

ERMELO – It was a day of learning and laughter as the Grade Seven learners of Laerskool Ermelo transformed the school grounds into a bustling marketplace for their Economics and Management Sciences Market Day.

The event, a practical part of their curriculum, allowed the learners to experience the full cycle of business, from sales to marketing.

To make the day a success, the entire school joined in the fun.

Each grade was assigned a unique item or activity to manage. Many grades organised inflatable castles, slip ’n slides, and a ‘rocket’ ride, ensuring there was no shortage of entertainment and fun.

Other grades set up innovative activities like ‘trick shots’ and a popular ‘dunk-a-teacher’ booth.

Even the principal, vice principal and other management staff eagerly participated, much to the learners’ delight.

The event was a huge success, providing the pupils with valuable experience while fostering a sense of fun throughout the school.
