SAPS honours long-serving members during medal parade

SAPS Gert Sibande honoured long-serving members on 24 October with medals for 10, 20, and 30 years of service.

ERMELO – The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Gert Sibande District recently paid tribute to its dedicated members during a prestigious medal parade at AJ Swanepoel Stadium on October 24.

Officers from across the district gathered to celebrate colleagues who have devoted 10, 20, and even 30 years to serving and protecting the public.

The event, hosted by the Office of the Provincial Commissioner of SAPS Mpumalanga and led by Deputy Provincial Commissioner Major General Samuel Sekgobela, included a formal drill display and heartfelt messages of appreciation from senior leadership.
