Breyten choirs set to compete for Harmony Cup glory

Register your a cappella choir by December 6 to take part in Breyten’s Harmony Cup.

BREYTEN – The spirit of song and community will come alive in Breyten on Saturday, December 11, when the Breyten Youth Choir hosts the annual Harmony Cup Choir Competition.

The event promises a celebration of vocal talent, drawing some of the region’s most dynamic a cappella groups.

Choirs will compete not only for the prestigious Harmony Cup trophy but also for a cash prize of R1 000.

So far, three choirs have confirmed their participation: God’s Vision Gospel Choir, Ubumbano Youth Choir, and Mighty Spiritual Servants of God.

Each group is expected to bring its own unique sound, energy, and style to the stage, making it a must-see event for music lovers in the area.

The competition is open to a cappella groups with 10 or more choristers.

Interested groups are encouraged to register early, as the entry fee of R350 per choir must be paid and registration closes on December 6.
