Happening tonight: Ermelo hosts glow in the dark Easter egg hunt

A night of glowing egg-citement awaits as families gather for a unique Easter hunt packed with fun and surprises.

ERMELO – As the sun sets tonight, Camden Avenue will transform into a playground of glowing surprises as the Ermelo Wrestling Club hosts its much-anticipated Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt.

Starting at 19:00 at War Room Tag in Camden Avenue, children armed with flashlights will set off into the dark in search of hidden treasures, with prizes and surprises waiting to be uncovered.

The event, hosted as a fundraiser for the club, promises more than just sweets – it’s an evening of excitement, laughter, and family fun under the night sky.

Please take note of the following arrangements:

  • To keep the event safe and enjoyable, children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Please bring your own flashlights, as these will not be provided.
  • Cash is preferred for entry payments at the gate.
  • Freshly made wors rolls and cold drinks will be on sale, so attendees are encouraged to bring money.
  • A short briefing will take place before the egg hunt to explain the rules and ensure a fun experience for everyone.

Entry is R50 per child and can be paid at the gate. There is no cost for parents accompanying their children.

Bring a camping chair if you’d like to relax, but please stay nearby to supervise your children.

The initiative is supported by the Toyota Knights, who have partnered with the club to make the evening possible.
