Free victim support training workshop planned for Ermelo

People interested in supporting tourists and visitors in distress in Ermelo can register for a free victim support training workshop on August 13.

A victim support training workshop will be held on August 13 for people interested in assisting tourists and visitors who find themselves in distress while travelling in the region.

Organisers invite representatives from the tourism industry, guesthouse owners, security companies and other individuals who are able to provide victim support to attend.

The workshop is free.

Delegates should:

  • Be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Have their own transport.
  • Be available to assist at short notice when required.
