Ermelo CMR children reel in memories during fundraising initiative

A day beside the water brought fishing, laughter and memorable moments for children from CMR Child and Youth Care Centre.

ERMELO – Children from the CMR Child and Youth Care Centre (CYCC) enjoyed a day of fishing and outdoor fun during Bass Hub’s fundraising competition at Ons Pan on Saturday, September 12.

The event brought participants together for a day of fishing while giving the children an opportunity to step away from their everyday routine and enjoy time outdoors.

The children also tried their hand at fishing. According to CMR Child & Youth Care Centre, they had an amazing day out.

Food and snacks were also provided, with the children treated to hotdogs, vetkoek and mince.

The centre expressed its appreciation to everyone who contributed to making the fundraiser possible, including those who participated, attended, donated, assisted with the fundraiser, helped behind the scenes or spread the word.
