Local gospel artist wins three awards at 13th Ingoma Awards
Nkosinathi ‘Mphotholozi’ Fakude has added three more awards to his achievements.
ERMELO – Nkosinathi ‘Mphotholozi’ Fakude has added three more awards to his achievements after being recognised at the 13th Independent National Gospel Music Awards (Ingoma) in Midrand on August 29.
Mphotholozi received the award for Best Live Recorded Project for In the Sanctuary, while his song Inkazimulo was named Best Praise Song.
He was also recognised as Best Gospel Promoter for his contribution to promoting gospel music and supporting the growth of the industry.

He thanked his family, supporters, fellow artists and members of the gospel music community, as well as everyone who continues to listen to, share and promote his work.
Mphotholozi is a proud born-again Christian and grew up in the church where his grandfather, Mkhulu Petros Zwane, was a pastor.
This singer-songwriter has been featured on many local gospel albums and has made a name for himself in gospel circles around the Gert Sibande District.
Born and bred in Mayflower, he now calls Ermelo his home.
