Lace up for Merino Mall’s heritage fun run
Residents of all ages are invited to lace up for a morning of running, walking, heritage and community spirit at Merino Mall on October 10.
ERMELO – Merino Mall invites residents to lace up their takkies and celebrate Ermelo’s heritage and community spirit at their annual Heritage Fun Run on October 10.
The event will take place at Merino Mall, with registration opening at 07:00 at the Merino Mall stall.
The 4.5km event is open to participants of all ages and is aimed at bringing the community together for a morning of fun.
Participants can choose to run, walk or simply enjoy the atmosphere, with organisers encouraging residents to bring along friends and family.
Adding a touch of local heritage to the event, participants are encouraged to dress according to the heritage theme.
A prize will be awarded to the best-dressed participant, giving entrants an opportunity to show off their creativity while celebrating tradition.
The entry fee for the 4.5km event is a can of food or a perishable food item.
Children are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Organisers are encouraging residents to gather their friends and family and join the fun.
