Errie choir, marimba band and drummers perform at music festival

It saw a total of 19 choirs and various solo and instrumental acts perform to an eager and enthusiastic crowd.

Hoërskool Patriot played host to a spectacular display of music and talent during its first-ever music festival on July 20.

The festival, which lasted for three days, was aimed at encouraging learners to improve their musical skills and providing them with a platform to showcase their talents.

It saw a total of 19 choirs and various solo and instrumental acts perform to an eager and enthusiastic crowd.

Among these performances was the Hoërskool Ermelo (EHS) choir, marimba band and drummers, who brought their A game to the stage and left the audience thoroughly impressed.

This music festival was a fantastic way to showcase the musical talent within EHS and the local community.

“EHS thanks Hoërskool Patriot for the opportunity and looks forward to participating again in the future. EHS is very proud of Phila Dladla, the choir, marimba players and drummers,” said the school principal, Pieter Grobler.
