Netherland Park Secondary School showcases its spelling skills

The event showcased the incredible linguistic talents of the NPSS learners.

In an impressive display of linguistic and language skills, the Netherland Park Secondary School (NPSS) held its very first spelling bee competition.

The event marked a significant milestone in the school’s academic calendar, bringing together learners from grades eight to 11 for a battle of words.

The deserving champions who stood out from their peers were:
• Grade Eight champion speller: Sisanda Sithole
• Grade Nine champion speller: Amahle Mdlalose
• Grade 10 champion speller: Samukelisiwe Malinga
• Grade 11 champion speller: Lebogang Mokwena.

The competition concluded as a resounding success, leaving participants, teachers and parents alike brimming with pride. The event not only showcased the incredible linguistic talents of NPSS learners, but also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the school’s faculty in organising and executing such an engaging competition.
