Ermelo Marathon Club runners take on Uniwisp Kaapsehoop 3-in-1

Chivonne Deacon took on the 42km and finished in a time of 4:43,46 thereby also qualifying for the Two Oceans and Comrades marathons next year. She placed 825th out of 1706 athletes.

Ermelo Athletics Club’s marathon runners recently competed in the Uniwisp Kaapsehoop 3-in-1 Marathon in Mbombela.

In the 21,1km marathon, Andries Koekemoer (2:01,4), Marieta Ziervogel (2:09,5), and Cicile Erasmus (2:12,58) placed 261st, 390th, and 441st respectively out of a total of 1207 runners.
