Shalom Marathon Club runners compete in Volksrust

Athletes of the Shalom Marathon Club had an eventful weekend when they competed in the Volksrust Marathon, also a Comrades qualifier.

The athletes who ran the 42.2km race obtained the following times:

• Thembinkosi Nzuza – 03:42:33
• Sydney Khumalo – 04:28:56.

The following athletes completed the 32km race:

• Luciah Nkonyane – 03:08:03
• Bheki Maseko – 03:08:06
• Makhosonke Dhladhla – 03:08:09
• Sandile Nhlapho – 03:21:41
• Nosipho Mjelo – 03:56:50
• Ntokozo Sibiya – 03:57:57
• Bongani Mathebula – 04:09:46
• Kholisa Langa completed the 21.2km race in a time of 03:35:30
• Luciah Nkonyane won the first prize for the first women to complete the 32km.
