Ermelo English Primary School secures Ubuntu trophies

Ermelo English Primary’s U9 and first teams took top honours as the Gert Sibande Ubuntu League wrapped up.

Two of Ermelo English Primary School’s rugby teams were crowned the Gert Sibande Ubuntu League winners when they faced off against Badplaas and Standerton Primary on June 3.

The school was very proud of them, especially the U9 and the first teams, which both clinched their respective league titles.

The first team won the Gert Sibande Ubuntu Rugby League. Here they are, along with coaches Johan Stoop and Andre Mclaren.

The day was full of thrilling rugby action, and the results were as follows:

  • U9: 15-10 – Gert Sibande Ubuntu League winners
  • U10: 24-37 – second place
  • U11: 17-38 – second place
  • First team: 29-24 Gert Sibande Ubuntu League winners.

The school extended its heartfelt congratulations to all the players and their coaches for their dedication and the outstanding results.
