New classical concert series staged in Kloof

 

CLASSICAL music lovers will be able to enjoy new series of mid-month matinee concerts at St Angnes Church in Kloof as part of Christopher Duigan’s popular Musical Revival series.

The new hour-long concert series will take place on the second Thursday of each month  starting at 11 am.

They will feature Duigan and a variety of guest artists.

St Agnes Church will also host a morning market with local fare and produce and the coffee shop at the church complex will be open for refreshments before and after the performance.

The first mid-month matinee will see Duigan performing music by Handel, Beethoven’s ‘Waldstein’ and music by Liszt, Chopin and Debussy on Thursday, September 14 at 11 am.
