KCC honours best squash players

KCC celebrates successful 2014 KZN squash league.

THE Kloof Country Club’s (KCC) squash section recently held its annual year-end awards evening.

Geraldine Keenan, former squash captain, announced that the women’s 2A team won this year’s KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) squash league.

At the auspicious event Caryl Combrinck was awarded Best Women’s League Player and Adrianne Morck received the Most Improved Women’s Award.

Grant Findlay received the Men’s Champion Award and Ian Pears won the Most Improved Men’s Award.

During the event it was also announced that Keenan would be stepping down as the KCC’s squash captain. Paul Newman was inducted as the new squash captain.

The new Highway Summer Squash League will start in mid-January and will run for eight weeks. The KZN league will start in March and end in November 2014.

Residents are encouraged to join the KCC’s squash section for next year’s leagues.
