THE first Mahogany Market in Westville was a great success.

Market convener, Nishi Padayachee, said she had an excellent response for a debut merket with 18 stallholders present on Saturday, 3 March.

“It was a great opportunity for local residents to market small businesses and for the community to support local trade. I’m hoping to have more stallholders next month,” said Padayachee.

The next Mahogany Market will be held next to Turtle Café, 38 Pitlochry Road in Westville on Saturday, 7 April from 9am to 2pm. Traders interested in booking a stall at the market can contact Nishi on 082 896 7220.
