Pupils speak out at graduation
PINETOWN Senior Primary School had a graduation programme for public speaking at their school on Friday 6 September.
PINETOWN Senior Primary School held a graduation programme for public speaking on Friday 6 September.
Twelve Grade 7 pupils took part in the SpeakOut Junior Communicators’ Course sponsored by the non-profit communications skills organisation, SpeakOut and the Pinetown Rotary Club. SpeakOut helps people develop the self-confidence to become public speakers.
At the graduation programme, each participant presented a short speech for the audience. They were awarded with participation certificates which could be the opening key to their success when they apply for jobs in the future.
The Junior Communicators’ Course is also part of the Pinetown Rotary Club schools forum. Anyone who would like to assist local schools in any way is asked to contact New Generations director Margaret Keogh on 072 631 0868.
