TMC matrics celebrate great results

Thomas More College pupils placed among the top 130 IEB pupils in the country.

THOMAS More College’s 2013 matric group produced an outstanding set of National Senior Certificate results, with two of its pupils making the top 130 in the country.

“Once again, a 100 per cent pass rate was achieved, and the number of subject distinctions considerably surpassed previous years,” said Allan Chandler, headmaster of the high school at Thomas More College.

Jembe Moran received 8 As and finished among the top 80 IEB pupils in the country, while Paul Rawlins obtained 9 As and finished among the top 130 pupils in the country. Another five pupils achieved 7 As and eight pupils received 6 As.

“The class of 2013 has been an outstanding group in all areas and I congratulate them on their achievements and thank them sincerely for all they did for the school,” concluded Chandler.
