THE Durban Shongweni Club’s summer series offers the perfect sporting venue for horse enthusiasts and cyclists.
The Series runs until Wednesday, 30 April. There is show jumping at 1pm which alternates with one week being the lower grades, followed the next week by the higher grades. This is the prefect opportunity for riders to get experience before progressing to affiliated shows. There is also dressage which starts at 1.30pm.
At 4pm there is arena polo and cycling for anyone wishing to do the track at their own pace. At 5pm its the turns of the cycling speedsters who make for the track and ride until 6pm to see how many laps they can do.
Good food, cold beers and good vibes follow on for the rest of the evening.
