Burned woman fighting for her life
The woman remains in critical condition at RK Khan Hospital.
Woman set on fire in Kloof ‘critical’
THE woman who was rushed to the RK Khan Hospital on Sunday afternoon, after being set alight, is fighting for her life.
According to Kamla Chetty, the public relations officer at RK Khan Hospital, it is believed the 33-year-old woman was doused with petrol and set on fire.
She noted that the woman has burn wounds over 80 per cent of her body and was admitted into the ICU Isolation Unit and “remains critical.”
The details surrounding the circumstances that led to her burning are still unknown at this point.
