Join the race against animal cruelty.

THE Animal Anti-Cruelty League – Durban Branch will be hosting an equestrian trail ride and country fair on 2 August 2014 at Triple B Ranch, Leckhampton Valley, Hammarsdale from 8am to 2pm.

Trail Rides will be 12km, 6km and 2km. Outstanding prizes are on offer including first prizes in each category ranging from R2000 in the 12km; R1500 in the 6km; and R500 in the 3km.

In addition to the Trail Rides, there will be a Gymkhana, Equine Demonstrations, Pony and Tractor Rides, BMX Track, Dirt Bike Track, Mountain Biking, Tea Garden, Beer Tent and Barn Craft Market, providing full family entertainment.

Veterinarian and AACL Inspectors will be on site.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to equip an in-house veterinary clinic, enabling the League to provide greater primary health care for animals in desperate need. The League has been sterilizing dogs and cats in the eThekwini Municipal Area for the past 54 years, concentrating mainly in townships, rural and informal settlements, in its quest to reduce the many hundreds of unwanted puppies and kittens.
