A WOMAN was seriously injured when her car rolled down an embankment on the M7 at the Hans Dettman off ramp near Pinetown on Sunday morning.
When Rescue Care paramedics arrived at the scene they found the injured woman was still inside the vehicle, which had come to rest on its wheels after rolling down the hill.
“Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to help stabilise the injured woman. Once she had been stabilised on the scene she was transported to a nearby hospital,” said Garrith Jamieson, operations director for Rescue Care.
According to Jamieson, the cause of the accident is not yet known but the local SAPS are currently investigating.
