Drug bust three appear in court

Highway drug lab exposed

THE three men who were arrested in connection to one of the biggest drug labs discovered in the country appeared in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

The magistrate ordered that the men aged 24, 58 and 57 may not be identified in any manner until the next court appearance due to on-going investigations.

The case was remanded to Tuesday 8 July.

This comes after a joint operation on Tuesday 24 June between the Umhlali K9, Umhlali Task Team, Phoenix Crime Intelligence and Tactical Response Team successfully uncovered a massive drug lab  in Kloof.
