Man stoned to death

A MAN was allegedly beaten to death along Booth Road, under the N3, in *Cato Manor this morning. Bricks found at the scene suggest they may have been used in the attack.

“Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying in the roadway with extensive injuries,” said Chris Botha, media spokesman for Netcare 911.

The man’s injuries were so severe that he died before the paramedics arrived on the scene.

According to Botha, the cause of the attack is not yet known and the incident is currently being investigated by the local SAPS.
