Spooky trick or treat raises funds

MORE than 300 children descended on Westville Mall from 3pm on Friday 31 October in the ever popular Halloween fundraiser.

It has fast become a popular event among children as they are given the opportunity to dress up and trick or treat. There was a magic show, face painting, complimentary juice and cake and a fancy dress competition which were all aimed at providing a fun event for all of the children, and a few parents.

“Approximately R3000 was donated to the Kloof and Highway SPCA for animals in need and to add a gesture of positive giving,” said Janine Kyle, marketing manager at Westville Mall.
