PARAMEDICS attended to an accident scene on the N3 West bound before the Pavilion just after 8pm on Saturday. One person died after he drove into a stationary truck on the side of the road.
Rescue Care paramedics were called to the scene. According to Garrith Jamieson, a car collided into the back of a truck, leaving the driver severely entrapped.
“Paramedics assessed the driver and found him dead on the scene.
“The Durban Fire Department had to utilise the jaws of life and other hydraulic equipment to free the trapped man,” said Jamieson.
SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
