On 23 November 2014, a donation of R15 000 was made by the organising committee of the recent Geocaching Mega Event (on behalf of all South African geocachers) to Ezemvelo Wildlife Honorary Rangers serving at the Tembe Elephant Park.
The donation will be earmarked for elephant conservation efforts, which includes anti poaching, radio-tracking and the vaccination programme.
