Stage three load-shedding implemented

ESKOM and eThekwini Municipality have implemented stage three load-shedding.

This means each block will be load-shedding twice today. At this stage it is unclear whether there will be stage three load-shedding throughout the weekend.

Below are the areas in the Highway area and the times they will load-shed today (Friday, 5 December):

Block B, K, O, F – 

• 6am to 8.30am
• 2pm to 4.30pm

Assagay, Berea West, Botha’s Hill, Embo, Hillcrest, Hilldene, Hilltop Gardens, KwaNyuswa, Mariannhill Mission, Mariannheights, Mariannhill Industrial, Mariannridge, Westville, West Riding (Hillcrest).

Block C, L, G, P – 

• 8am TO 10.30
• 4pm to 6.30pm

Mariannridge

Block D, M, H, Q – 

• 10am to 12.30pm
• 6pm to 8.30pm

Northdene, New Germany, Sarnia, Westville North, Chiltern Hills, Clermont, KwaDabeka.

Block E, N, J, R – 

• Noon to 2.30pm
• 8pm to 10.30pm
