Westville shooting remains a mystery

It is believed the shooting was linked to an attempted theft of a vehicle.

NO injuries have been reported after a shooting that took place on Friday evening in Westville. There were reports that the shooting took place outside Waxy O’Connors pub, but in fact it was outside a nearby restaurant, according to a source.

Brett Mathew Bowman commented on Facebook:

“Attempted theft of [a] white Nissan sentra outside Lupa restaurant in Westville. The owner of the sentra was a patron dining in the restaurant. Another customer dining in the restaurant ran out and fired shots into a Nissan tida which was the car thieves get away car…”
