Pupils set wheels in motion for free wheelchair

Two John Wesley School pupils are on a mission to collect one million bread tags.

TWO Grade 4 pupils from John Wesley School are on a mission to collect one million bread tags as part of the bread tags for wheelchair campaign. The admirable duo, Shaalin Pillay (9) and Lee Van Tonder (9) have collected over 10,000 bread tags so far with the help of their family. Their goal is to reach their target of one million bread tags so it can be recycled and in return three wheelchairs will be donated to people who desperately requires one. Shaalin and Lee who started this project in Grade 2, are determined to achieve their goal and they encourage others to partner with them and embark on initiatives such as these.
