Update: Positive feedback from Krantzkloof Reserve survey

165 visitors responded to the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve survey.

Thanks to the feedback received from the recent survey on Krantzkloof Nature Reserve, the Kloof Consevancy, the reserve’s management and the honorary officers are developing an exciting programme to make it the best small nature reserve in South Africa.

Feedback from 165 respondents over a six-week period was received, with many positive comments, which were forwarded to the reserve’s management. All 165 respondents indicated that they would visit the reserve again.

BotSoc, Birdlife Port Natal, Ramblers, Amblers and the Mountain Backpackers Club also participated.

The survey helped identify and confirm key problem areas and how to redefine the priorities and actions needed. Based on the feedback, a ‘scorecard’ for the reserve as been developed, with plans to do an annual survey on how to monitor the progress in improving visitors’ experiences of the reserve.

“Thank you to everyone who provided feedback; already a number of improvements have been made and there are many more in the pipeline,” said Paolo Candotti, Chairman of Kloof Conservancy.
