Mutts get ready to walk a mile
The annual Mutt Mile walk returns, and residents are encouraged to support this exciting project.
THE Kloof and Highway SPCA will host its annual Mutt Mile on Sunday, 7 June, at 29 Village Road, Kloof. Registration opens at 9am and the walk takes place from 9am to 11am. The distance is 1.6km. Entry is R30 per adult and R20 per dog, and children under 12 enter free. Early birds may pre-register for the walk by downloading the forms from www.kloofspca.co.za.
All 11 charity shops will be open from 8am to noon and will be filled with newly-donated goods. You are sure to find yourself a little treasure. There will be loads of entertainment for children, including a soft play area for the tiny tots, swings and jungle gyms, while the rest of the family enjoys breakfast, tea, cake and sandwiches. There will also be live entertainment throughout the morning.
