The children of Arundle Road were given an eventful Youth Day.

The children of Arundle Road in Malvern were overjoyed when they received a surprise visit from the Food for Life Children’s Projects team on Youth Day. The project falls within the national Food for Life structure and aims to combine nutrition and education as a hand-in-glove approach to poverty

alleviation.

The children were entertained with fun and games, and discussed the significance of Youth Day. They were also presented with gifts and toys.

Project manager, Divesh Maharaj, highlighted that the FFL Children’s Projects are committed to supporting educational development among young learners in the community. Recently, the project took the children of Arundle Road on a full day excursion to Ushaka Marine World.
